Empowerment Programs
Empowerment programs include training, education and employment initiatives to develop the skills of beneficiaries, enabling their integration into the job market. Offered in collaboration with ADSSA’s strategic partners, these mandatory programs are tailored to individual capabilities and experiences of beneficiaries.
The Abu Dhabi Social Support Authority is committed to expanding its network of strategic partnerships, promoting collaborative efforts with both government and private sectors to provide training, qualification and education opportunities for members of beneficiary families. It ensures that its empowerment initiatives align with the strategic directions of the Abu Dhabi government, particularly in enabling citizens’ entry into the job market. The Authority serves as a bridge between beneficiaries and various training and education platforms in the UAE.
Through its empowerment programs, the Authority aims to enhance trust among customers, enabling its team to provide data-based proposals that address the financial challenges faced by low-income families in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
The social financial support provided by ADSSA is linked to the beneficiaries' commitment and active engagement with the opportunities provided by the Authority including training, qualification, education and employment.
Economic Empowerment
Economic empowerment is a key pillar in the Authority’s strategy to support social support beneficiaries in their pursuit of meaningful employment, ensuring the sustainability and enhancement of economic resources for family members.
Social Empowerment
The Abu Dhabi Social Support Authority adopts the concept of social empowerment by encouraging beneficiary families to cultivate solidarity and strengthen family bonds. This approach fosters a cohesive and stable family environment that supports sustainable financial independence for all family members.
The Social Worker
The primary role of social workers at the Abu Dhabi Social Support Authority is to provide continuous support and guidance to beneficiaries, enabling them to maximize their utilization of the Authority’s economic and social empowerment services. Additionally, they communicate with heads of families to emphasize the importance of updating personal information for all family members. They also assist them in registering for and participating in the various empowerment programs provided by the Authority in collaboration with its network of partners, which are linked to social financial support.
