It is a government service offered by ADSSA as part of the Emirati Family Growth Support Program and in alignment with Abu Dhabi’s strategy for enhancing family quality of life. Through this service, Emirati mothers working in the UAE private sector and registered in their husband’s family book issued by the Emirate of Abu Dhabi can apply for financial support to supplement their salary, allowing them to enjoy up to 90 days of paid maternity leave. This service aims to provide Emirati mothers with sufficient rest and time to care for their newborn
Application Terms:
• The Emirati mother applicant must be registered in the husband’s family book issued by the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
• The Emirati mother applicant must be employed in the UAE private sector
• The Emirati mother applicant must obtain a no-objection certificate from the employer to extend maternity leave to 90 days
• The Emirati mother applicant should apply to the service within 30 days after delivery, provided that the date of birth is after 1 September 2024.
• The Emirati mother applicant must provide the Emirates ID details of the newborn child.

• No objection Certificate from Employer to extend the maternity leave till 90 days as per the defined template from ADSSA
• Certified salary certificate
• IBAN certificate
