The Emirates Schools Establishment (ESE) has concluded a memorandum of understanding with the Abu Dhabi Social Support Authority (ADSSA) to cooperate in supporting the ESE’s continuing learning program for community members to complete their education, in order to enable them to move forward in their lives and careers
The aim of the MoU is to enable the beneficiaries of the social support program to complete their school studies, widen the scope of their skills, and eventually enroll them in higher education institutions and enhance their readiness to enter the labor market.
The MoU comes as an extension of the ECE’s great efforts, in cooperation with relevant authorities, to enable community members who were unable to finish their education, by providing them with the opportunity to complete their higher education through programs that are convenient and would not interfere with their lives and obligations. Through the Continuing Education program, they will be offered an opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills so that they are more capable to play a more effective role in society, and at the same time enhance their overall life conditions and stability. The ECE is keen to reach all targeted segments through collaborating with various federal and local entities to guarantee the utmost benefit to all beneficiaries of the program offered, while keeping in mind their life conditions and obligations.
On this occasion, H. We look forward to this collaboration with the Emirates Schools Establishment, expecting it to be a productive and effective step to fulfilling our aspirations for our community. I encourage beneficiaries to continue applying for the continuing educations programs, to continue their educational journey and develop their skills, and be better prepared for the labor market, with confidence and skillsets, which will have a positive impact on their living conditions, future aspirations and contribute to providing them and their families with a decent life ".

Her Excellency stated that the Emirates Schools Establishment gives high priority to continuing education programs, as the ECE deems these programs necessary for the development of the skills and capabilities of its targets audience, as it is providing them with all means possible for them to have a better and more productive future, and benefit the nation by preparing individuals who are capable of engaging in labor markets with all merit. H. Her Excellency commended Abu Dhabi Social Support Authority's efforts and endeavours to advance the continuing education program, in cooperation with the ESE, with the common goal of implementing our wise leadership aspirations in this area.
Under the MoU, the Abu Dhabi Social Support Authority will work hand in hand with the Emirates Schools Establishment to list beneficiaries in order to enroll them in the appropriate educational stages. The ADSSA was able to enroll a number of beneficiaries, who joined the high school grades, from grade 10 to 12, and a second group attended classes from 7 to 9 grades, in addition to a third group registered in adult education. A specialized team in the Authority communicates with the beneficiaries to complete the registration procedures and provide the required documents. This cooperation constitutes an effective addition to the early achievements of the Authority, with a view to enriching its programs through which it seeks to empower beneficiaries of the Authority.
Beneficiaries' registration with the ESE is done through the channels and means of registration provided by the Establishment. The ADSSA and the ESE also cooperate to assess the social and educational challenges the students face; such as repeated absence, low academic achievement, social, psychological and behavioral problems, through a joint committee of both parties, to improve students' quality of life on multiple levels: social, psychological, cognitive, health and economic.
